Spring Field Day & 2018 AGM

The day will include site visits to view the set up and initial progress of a few of our nearby pasture trial sites followed by the AGM.

Date & Time:                        Saturday 17 November - 9 am

Location:                              360 Nubeena Rd, Koonya

Morning tea and lunch provided. Car pooling / transport will be available from the meeting point.

All members welcome (past, present, future - membership by gold coin donation)

Dunalley Tasman Dirty Weekend 29th - 31st May

The Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House and Tasman Landcare have partnered to bring a Dirty Weekend full of talk of soils and all things that spring from the dirt!  There will be workshops on both the Saturday and Sunday with an opening night on Friday.  Booking for the weekend workshops via the Neighbourhood house, and to book for the opening night contact Tasman Council.

The TFS have a variety of resources to assist you with managing your property for fire

Tasmania Fire Service has produced a brochure in cooperation with the farming communities and the state fire management council. This brochure provides information about fire safety on farms, safe harvesting practices during hot and dry weather and safe cooperative working practices for farmers and TFS.
